Broth ingredients:

  • 1 carrot and 1 potato;
  • Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc;
  • 2 small onions;
  • Ripe tomato - 1 pc;
  • Greens to taste;
  • Sunflower oil.

Ingredients for meatballs:

  • Beef or minced pork (can be mixed) - 350 g;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1/3 cup rice cereal;
  • 1 onion;
  • Flour;
  • Pepper and salt.

Preparation:

  1. First, you should start preparing vegetables. To do this, peel them and rinse them thoroughly. However, they should not be crushed yet.
  2. Then pour 1.5 liters of clean water into a saucepan and put it on fire. While the liquid is boiling, start cooking meatballs. To do this, in a separate bowl, combine the minced meat with finely chopped onion and egg in advance. Also, washed (not boiled) rice must be added to this mass. After you add salt and pepper the resulting minced meat, it will need to be thoroughly mixed again.
  3. After the minced meat is ready, it should be molded into small meatballs. They need to be breaded in flour and placed in sunflower oil heated in a pan.
  4. Fry meatballs until golden brown on different sides. Then they must be dipped in water boiling in a saucepan.
  5. After that, you need to fry. To do this, in the oil in which the meatballs were prepared, it is necessary to fry the grated carrots with chopped onions. Also, add pepper, cut into small strips, into the pan. Fry vegetables until cooked.
  6. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. They are poured into the soup after the meatballs have been cooked for about 10 minutes. After the soup has boiled for 5 minutes after adding the potatoes, you should add the prepared frying and chopped tomato into it (you can replace it with tomato paste). Add salt and pepper and let the soup simmer for at least 5 minutes.
  7. After that, remove the pan from the heat and let the dish steep for 15-30 minutes.
  8. Before serving the soup, sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs. You can also add a small amount of sour cream.
