Potatoes with meat in pots - a hearty and tasty dish - perfect for a family dinner, and for a festive table. In addition, food cooked in pots stays warm for a long time.

Instructions
Step 1
Rinse defrosted meat (pork or beef) in cold running water. Pat dry on a napkin. Cut the fillets into small pieces.
Step 2
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Finely chop the onion. Sauté the onion in a little sunflower oil.
Step 3
Add carrots. Continue simmering over low heat, stirring constantly. Attach the chopped meat to the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
Step 4
Increase heat and sauté the meat for 5 to 7 minutes until crisp. Then reduce heat and simmer vegetables and meat for about 10 - 15 minutes.
Step 5
Peel the potatoes. Cut the tubers into small cubes or sticks. In another skillet, fry the potatoes until half cooked in vegetable oil. Add some salt.
Step 6
Rinse the clay pots with boiling water. Place the potatoes in them. Lay the meat with carrots and onions on top. Put a cube of butter in each pot and pour in about 50 g of water. Instead of water, you can add meat or vegetable broth. For a festive option, use boiled dry white wine. Cover with a lid.
Step 7
Place the pots in a cold oven. Set the temperature to 180 degrees C. Pass the garlic through a garlic press. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. After about 15 minutes, take out the pots. Sprinkle dried basil, garlic on top of the meat. If desired, you can season the meat with dill, parsley, finely chopped pickled cucumber. Add a tablespoon of sour cream to each pot and sprinkle with grated cheese. Simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes until tender.
Step 8
Serve potatoes with meat directly in clay pots. Stir before starting your meal.

Diversify the dish according to your taste. For example, add fried mushrooms or boiled beans to potatoes with meat. Eggplants go well with potatoes. They must be soaked in hot water, cut into cubes, rolled in flour and fried.
