Chicken cooked with Marsala sauce looks very festive and appetizing. The meat is juicy and tender.
It is necessary
- - 2 heads of garlic;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil;
- - 8 chicken breast fillets;
- - ½ teaspoon of salt;
- - ½ teaspoon of pepper;
- - 350 g of medium-sized champignons;
- - 20 ml of Marsala dessert wine;
- - 100 g of water;
- - 25 g of corn starch;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of finely chopped parsley.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the garlic, chop. Salt and pepper the chicken. On a greased baking sheet, first place the garlic, then on top of the breast.
Step 2
Cut the mushrooms into slices, put them on the meat and cover with wine.
Step 3
Cover with foil and simmer for about an hour in the oven over moderate heat. After the chicken, transfer to a plate and cover to keep warm.
Step 4
Take a not very large dish, mix water, starch and pour onto a baking sheet. Raise heat and cook the sauce until thick, about 10 minutes.
Step 5
Place the chicken back on the sauce pan and cook over high heat for another 5 minutes.
Step 6
Serve with mushroom sauce and garnish with parsley. As a side dish - rice.
