Pelmeni is an amazingly tasty and satisfying dish. There are dozens of different variations of this dish: meat dumplings, fish dumplings, mushroom dumplings, fried dumplings, pot dumplings, etc. Dumplings with radish - an undeservedly forgotten type of dumplings lately - have every right to take their place on your table.
It is necessary
- - 2 cups wheat flour;
- - 1 chicken egg;
- - 0.5 cups of water;
- - salt;
- - 0.5 kg of fresh radish;
- - 2-3 onions;
- - 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- - 200 g sour cream 10% fat.
Instructions
Step 1
Knead into a tough dough with flour, egg, cold water and salt. After kneading, leave the dough to swell for thirty minutes.
Step 2
While the dough is swelling, prepare the minced meat for the dumplings. Peel the onion, chop it finely and fry over medium heat in a skillet with vegetable oil.
Step 3
Wash and peel the radish, grate it, or chop it with a food processor. Take a frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it and put it on fire. Add the grated radish to the pan and fry lightly. Remove from heat, add sautéed onions, salt and stir. Minced radish dumplings are ready.
Step 4
Form bundles from the swollen dough, cut them into pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle no more than four centimeters in diameter. Put the minced meat on one half of the mug, wrap it in a crescent shape, pinch the edges and bring the ends of the crescent together.
Step 5
Place the dumplings in boiling salted water and cook for ten minutes. Dumplings with radish are delicious hot, sprinkled with low-fat sour cream. Sprinkle with herbs if desired.
