  • - 2 cups rice
  • - 14 pieces of bell pepper
  • - 4 glasses of broth
  • - 1 onion
  • - 3 tbsp. l. black currant leaves
  • - vegetable oil
  • - salt, pepper to taste
  • - 0.75 cups walnuts

Instructions

Step 1

First, finely peel the onions and bell peppers.

Step 2

Take a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil and fry the onion until golden brown.

Step 3

Add the rice and fry it until it's translucent; it should absorb the oil.

Step 4

Add dried currant leaves and stir. Add the nuts and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Pour in one glass of broth, stirring the rice until it absorbs all the moisture. Then add another glass of broth. It should cover the rice completely. Close the lid and cook over low heat for about 10-15 minutes, the rice should be half cooked.

Step 6

Take the peppers and put the rice in there. Transfer them to a skillet, cover with broth and put on low heat for about 30-35 minutes and cook until rice is fully cooked.
