Cooking a hearty and tasty meat pie is a rather laborious and lengthy process. The usual yeast dough is prepared with a neutral taste. The filling should be juicy enough. Stick to the recipe, the recommended baking time and temperature - and the cake will be great.

- 1, 5 glasses of milk;
- 25 gr. dry yeast;
- 2 egg yolks;
- 3.5 cups wheat flour;
- 50 gr. spread or margarine;
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- butter for greasing baked goods.
- For filling:
- 500 gr. pork;
- 500 gr. beef;
- 6-7 onions;
- 0.5 cups cream;
- salt
- ground black pepper;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the meat and cook.
Step 2
Heat milk to 35-40 degrees. Add sugar and yeast to the milk.

Sift flour.
Step 4
Whisk the yolks lightly.
Step 5
Melt a spread or margarine.
Step 6
After the yeast starts to "walk" and a foam appears on the surface, pour the yeast into the flour, add the spread, eggs and salt and knead the dough. The longer you knead the dough, the fluffier the baked goods will be.
Step 7
Then cover the dough with a towel and place in a warm place for 1.5-2 hours to proof.
Step 8
The risen dough must be settled and put to rise for another 1 hour. While the dough is rising, prepare the filling.

Peel and finely chop the onion.
Step 10
Pass the finished meat through a meat grinder.
Step 11
Pass the onions until they are translucent.
Step 12
Attach the minced meat to the onion and fry everything together for 3-4 minutes.

Then pour in the cream. Stir and turn off heat. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
Step 14
Divide the finished dough into two parts. The parts do not have to be equal. For the bottom of the pie 2/3 of the dough, for the top - 1/3 of the dough.

Roll out two layers slightly larger than the baking sheet.

Place the bottom dough on a greased baking sheet and top with the meat filling.
Step 17
Cover the cake with the topping and pinch the edges of the cake.

Cover the cake with a towel and let stand for 40-50 minutes in a warm, draft-free place.
Step 19
Bake the cake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

The finished cake must be greased with melted butter.
