It is necessary

  • - 700 grams of beef liver;
  • - 1 onion;
  • - 4 tablespoons of flour;
  • - 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

In order to fry the beef liver, take the offal and rinse it well under cold running water, then be sure to drain or dry it. Cut the beef liver into medium-sized portions. You can also cut it into steak-sized chunks.

Step 2

Next, take a white onion, rinse it under running water, peel it and cut it into half rings. To prevent the onion from stinging your eyes, rinse it again in a peeled state before cutting directly. Grease a small frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the onions in it until golden brown.

Step 3

Take a shallow bowl and add the required amount of wheat flour to it. Dip each piece of beef liver thoroughly in this flour. Now prepare a frying pan for frying the liver, pour sunflower or olive oil into it and set to heat over medium heat.

Step 4

When the pan is hot enough, gently place the beef liver slices on top of it. Fry each piece for ten minutes on both sides. Before turning the beef liver to the other side, salt it, add seasonings and spices if desired.

Step 5

Put the fried onions on the liver, cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to low and fry the liver for another ten minutes, after the time has passed, turn off the heat and let the dish brew a little.

Step 6

Fried beef liver with onions is ready! You can serve the dish with boiled or baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, rice, buckwheat or pasta. Beef liver goes well with stewed vegetables, you can garnish the dish with fresh herbs before serving.
