A simple recipe according to which you can quickly bake a very delicate and beautiful cherry pie.
It is necessary
- For the basket:
- - 325 gr. flour;
- - 220 gr. butter (cold);
- - a little more than half a teaspoon of salt;
- - a tablespoon of sugar;
- - 4 tablespoons of ice water.
- For filling:
- - 500 gr. cherries;
- - 190 ml of water;
- - 100 gr. Sahara;
- - 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
Instructions
Step 1
Chop the butter into small pieces. Put all the ingredients for the basket in a bowl and knead a homogeneous dough. Cover the bowl with foil, put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 2
Cut the cherries into halves, remove the seeds. Fill with water, bring to a boil, cook for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the cherries from the heat, pour sugar and cornstarch into them, stir and return to the stove for 5 minutes to thicken the syrup.
Step 4
We take the dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into 2 parts (one more, the other less).
Step 5
The larger part of the dough is rolled out to a diameter of 35 cm and laid out in a mold with a diameter of 25 cm.
Step 6
We shift the cherry and syrup into the mold.
Step 7
Roll out the second part of the dough to a diameter of 35 cm, cut into strips.
Step 8
We close the cake beautifully, pinch the edges.
Step 9
We send the cherry pie to the oven (175C) for 45 minutes. Dessert can be served warm or chilled.
