It is necessary

  • For the basket:
  • - 325 gr. flour;
  • - 220 gr. butter (cold);
  • - a little more than half a teaspoon of salt;
  • - a tablespoon of sugar;
  • - 4 tablespoons of ice water.
  • For filling:
  • - 500 gr. cherries;
  • - 190 ml of water;
  • - 100 gr. Sahara;
  • - 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.

Instructions

Step 1

Chop the butter into small pieces. Put all the ingredients for the basket in a bowl and knead a homogeneous dough. Cover the bowl with foil, put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Cut the cherries into halves, remove the seeds. Fill with water, bring to a boil, cook for 10 minutes.

Remove the cherries from the heat, pour sugar and cornstarch into them, stir and return to the stove for 5 minutes to thicken the syrup.

We take the dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into 2 parts (one more, the other less).
