Meat is a fairly common product consumed by the average person. Of course, not only the benefits, but also the harm of meat with constant use, have been proven.
Since ancient times, meat has been the main source of nutrition, which enriches the body with various nutrients necessary for normal human activity. Therefore, one of the first occupations of ancient man was hunting, followed by the preparation of animal meat (game, pork, beef, horse meat, rabbit meat, etc.).
Even the modern variety of food products has not become a reason for a person to stop eating meat. The benefits and harms are still a controversial issue, since each researcher or doctor has his own point of view, which is supported by scientific facts.
Of course, the main benefit of meat is that it is a source of protein, which in turn fulfills the function of replenishing energy, and also replenishes the macro- and micronutrient (enrichment with iron, zinc) human needs. But the benefits and harms of meat largely depend on its origin and variety.
For example, pork contains B vitamins, iron, zinc, but many consider pork to be unclean meat, since the animal is omnivorous and undemanding in food. Beef neutralizes hydrochloric acid, which is the cause of acidity in the intestines. But the harm of meat lies in the fact that animals are constantly vaccinated, injected with various antibiotics, which, of course, get not only into milk, but also into all parts of the animal's body, in particular, into meat. The benefits of lamb are the content of vitamin B, potassium, iron, iodine, magnesium. But it is not recommended to eat meat for people with disorders of the musculoskeletal system and with diseases of bones and joints, since the surface of the bones of the ram is "rich" in bacteria that contribute to the development of arthrosis and arthritis. Rabbit meat is a storehouse of vitamins B and C, as well as various minerals (nicotinic acid, manganese, zinc, phosphorus, iron, cobalt, etc.). The low calorie content of the product allows it to be included in the menu even for people who refuse to eat meat due to its high fat content.
But the harm of this species is that it contains purine bases, which are later converted into uric acid in the body. It is possible to reduce the content of harmful bases by prolonged heat treatment, systematically changing the water. Chicken meat is rich in vitamins A, B and E, does not contain a lot of fat. But like cattle, the chicken is periodically vaccinated, and various hormones and antibiotics are injected into it to accelerate the growth process.
As a rule, many people cannot live without meat. It is recommended for them to reduce the consumption and volume of meat eaten daily. It is advisable to combine meat products with herbal dishes, since in this case there is an improved perception and assimilation by the body. As an experiment, you can try completely abandoning meat at least once a week. The positive effect consists in unloading the body from a rather heavy food product.
Very often, the harm of meat is associated with its improper processing. For example, during cooking, harmful substances remain in the broth that adversely affect the state of the human body. Fried meat can be eaten extremely rarely, since harmful elements with a carcinogen accumulate in the resulting crispy crust, which appear when the oil is heated. The best options for preparing meat dishes are stewing, boiling or baking using quality products. Do not overuse the amount of meat you eat so as not to harm your body in the future.
