Step 1
Prepare the monkey stencil. Draw the silhouette of a monkey on a piece of paper with a pencil, and then cut it along the outline.

Make gingerbread dough. Put softened butter, honey in a saucepan and melt until liquid over low heat.

Pour sugar into the honey-oil mixture and, stirring occasionally, let it completely dissolve. Add flour in portions to the slightly cooled mass, then ginger powder, mix thoroughly.

After cooling, add one egg to the dough, add baking soda. Knead the dough well with your hands. Form the finished dough into a ball.

Next, roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a layer 0.5-1 cm thick. Put a paper stencil of a monkey on top.
