The liver is a very useful product. It is usually prepared in slices with gravy or in the form of pancakes. But you can also make a cake from the liver. It turns out to be very original, tasty and satisfying. Such a dish is a salad, an appetizer and a meat dish at the same time. Having decorated your culinary masterpiece with grated yolks and whites, we will get a real cake in appearance.
It is necessary
- - beef liver 700 g
- - milk 100 ml
- - eggs 2 pcs.
- - flour 100 g
- - onion 200 g
- - carrots 200 g
- - 3 cloves garlic
- - vegetable oil
- - mayonnaise
- - salt
- For decoration:
- - boiled eggs 3 pcs.
- - tomatoes 2 pcs.
- - greens
Instructions
Step 1
Grate the carrots and finely chop the onion. Fry vegetables well until tender in vegetable oil.

Pass the garlic through a press and mix with mayonnaise.
Step 3
Rinse the liver and remove films, if necessary. Cut into large pieces and mince 2-3 times. Add eggs, milk, flour and a little salt. Mix everything well until smooth.

From the resulting liver mixture, it is necessary to prepare small pancakes. The pancakes should not be thick so that they can be easily browned. Fry them in vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes on each side. Turn the pancakes over carefully so as not to break them.
Step 5
Put the finished pancake on a flat plate and grease with mayonnaise and garlic, then lay out the carrots and onions and cover with another pancake on top. Repeat this sequence until you run out of ingredients.
Step 6
Decorate the finished cake: lightly grease the sides and top with mayonnaise. Sprinkle the sides with grated whites, and the top with grated yolk. You can make small roses from a tomato and add greens. The liver cake should sit for a few hours so that all layers are well saturated.
