Instructions
Step 1
Salad with strawberries, chicken and arugula A very simple and beautiful salad made from strawberries, chicken and fresh young arugula. Don't buy old tough leaves. The younger the salad, the brighter and fresher it tastes. Sort out the young arugula, remove the tough parts of the stems, rinse and dry.
Step 2
Wash the chicken fillet, pat dry with a paper towel and remove the films. Cut the chicken into strips and fry in a skillet with a little preheated vegetable oil. If you prefer a less fatty option, the chicken can be baked in the oven or grilled.
Step 3
Sort out the strawberries - only ripe, even, undamaged berries are needed for the salad. Dry the berries well by sprinkling them on a towel. Cut the strawberries into slices or slices.
Step 4
Place arugula leaves in a heap on portioned plates. Place the fried chicken and strawberries on top. In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and sprinkle each serving with freshly ground black pepper. To this salad, you can serve white bread dried in a toaster and a glass of well-chilled rosé wine.
Step 5
Strawberry, Chicken and Cheese Salad Do you like cheese? It is a great companion for chicken and strawberry salad. Wash the chicken fillet, peel and cut into small cubes. Grease a skillet with vegetable oil and, stirring occasionally, quickly fry the chicken until golden brown.
Step 6
Cut the previously washed and dried strawberries into slices. Finely chop the blue or green cheese. Go through the lettuce leaves, rinse them and shake off the water. Choose Iceberg or Frize salad - they go well with the sour taste of strawberries.
Step 7
Place the lettuce leaves in a large transparent bowl. Place the fried chicken cubes and strawberries on top. Lightly drizzle over the prepared balsamic sauce over the salad. Sprinkle the top with cheese crumbs and sesame seeds. Stir the strawberry-chicken salad before serving.
