Curd dough is tender and, subject to certain rules, very airy. Baking from such a dough will never turn out dry. Curd dough is usually used for making sweet products. In this case, you can add vanillin, citrus zest, raisins, dried apricots, fresh berries and fruits to the dough.

- 500 g of cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sour cream
- 2.5-3 cups flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 tsp citric acid
- ½ teaspoon salt

Rub the curd through a sieve 2 times.

Sift the flour.

Mash the yolks with sugar.

Add sour cream and egg yolks with sugar to the curd.

Add salt, baking soda and citric acid.

Gradually adding flour, knead the dough.

If the dough is not thick enough, add flour.

Cover the dough with cling film and let stand for 1, 5-2 hours in the refrigerator.

Curd dough should stick to your hands when kneading, so use flour for dusting.
