Stuffing onions is easy. The filling can be almost anything. I want to offer an interesting recipe for stuffed onions. The dish is very simple to prepare. The indicated amount of ingredients is enough for 4 servings.
It is necessary
- - onions - 12 pcs.;
- - red bell pepper - 1 pc.;
- - basil (herbs) - 4 leaves;
- - pine nuts - 30 g;
- - bread crumbs - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - hard cheese - 400 g;
- - egg - 1 pc.;
- - ground white pepper - a pinch;
- - dry white wine - 50 ml;
- - olive oil - 100 ml;
- - bay leaves - 2 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
Cooking cups from onions. Peel the onion, cut off the upper part, carefully remove the contents. We've got an onion cup. Dip the onion in boiling water for 5 minutes. We take it out of the water, put it on a sieve.
Step 2
Cooking the filling. Rinse the pepper with water, remove the core and seeds, cut into small cubes. Finely chop the basil. Grate the cheese.
Step 3
Fry pine nuts in a pan without oil.
Step 4
Mix together grated cheese, egg, pepper cubes, pine nuts, bread crumbs, basil. Salt and pepper. The filling is ready.
Step 5
We fill the onion baskets with the filling. Place the stuffed onion in a fireproof dish. Mix olive oil with wine, fill the baskets with liquid. Add bay leaves. We bake in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 220 degrees. The dish is ready! Bon Appetit!
