Most often, peppers, tomatoes, eggs are stuffed with various fillings, but stuffed onions are not so common, but no less tasty from this. We suggest stuffing the onion with a delicate filling of cheese and green salad and bake it until golden brown.
It is necessary
- For six servings:
- - 6 onions;
- - 1 head of radicchio salad;
- - 100 g of gorgonzola cheese;
- - 50 g bacon;
- - 40 g of hard cheese;
- - 30 g of walnuts;
- - 20 g of almonds;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - salt pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Bake the onions in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. There is no need to peel the onion. After baking, cool the onions slightly, peel them. Pull out the middle, make "cups" in 2-3 layers. From each onion you will get about 2 "cups", which can then be filled with the ready-made filling.
Step 2
Rinse radicchio salad, cut. Fry the ham or bacon, cut into small cubes in vegetable oil. Add salad, fry together. Then add chopped onion cores, salt, simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Chop nuts, grate hard cheese on a fine grater. Send these ingredients to the skillet along with the soft gorgonzola cheese. Other types of soft cheese can also be used. Stir the filling thoroughly.
Step 4
Fill the prepared onion cups with the resulting filling, place on a baking sheet, bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees. The appetizer should be covered with a delicious golden crust.
Step 5
Ready-made onions stuffed with cheese and radicchio can first be cooled and served as a cold snack. Or you can serve the onions warm as a light interesting lunch or dinner, due to the bacon and cheese, the dish turns out to be quite satisfying.
