Chicken in sea buckthorn juice turns out to be tender, aromatic and very appetizing in appearance.
It is necessary
- - 5 pieces of chicken legs or one chicken cut into pieces;
- - 5 cloves of garlic;
- - 500 grams of fresh or frozen sea buckthorn or 1 glass of sea buckthorn juice with sugar;
- - 2-3 teaspoons of sugar (if the sea buckthorn juice does not contain sugar);
- - salt, pepper to taste.

Step 1
Making sea buckthorn juice
Thaw sea buckthorn if frozen; Rinse fresh or defrosted berries, dry, chop in a food processor or blender, squeeze the juice through cheesecloth or a fine sieve. Add sugar and stir well.
Step 2
Chicken preparation
Peel the garlic, finely grate or chop in a garlic press. Rinse the chicken, dry it, rub with salt, pepper and garlic paste. Pour sea buckthorn juice, mix everything well, cover with a plate and put the load on top. Put the chicken in the refrigerator to marinate for 3 hours.

Baking
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place the chicken on a baking sheet or in a baking dish, pour over the sea buckthorn marinade. Cover with foil on top and put in the oven for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and hold in the oven for another 10-15 minutes to form a beautiful golden brown crust. Serve with vegetables, potatoes or rice.
