So, in order to prepare a mixed meat hodgepodge, you will need the following ingredients:

  • Beef on the bone - 500 g;
  • Potatoes - 5 pcs. medium size;
  • Sausages (you can take any) - 4 pcs.;
  • Raw smoked sausage, bacon, boiled pork, etc. - 200 g;
  • Pickled cucumber - 1-2 pcs.;
  • Mushrooms (fresh, frozen or canned) - 200 g;
  • Tomato paste - 2 tbsp l.;
  • Olives, sour cream and lemon optional.

So, you need to start the preparation of the prefabricated hodgepodge with broth. To boil it, rinse the beef thoroughly under running water. Place the meat in a pot of cold water and cook until tender. Do not forget to salt the base for the first course to your liking, and also remove the "foam" that forms after boiling water.

When the beef is boiled, fish it out of the broth, cool and cut into arbitrary pieces. Put a saucepan with broth on gas and send chopped meat there. Peel the potatoes, cut into small cubes, send to cook for beef.

If you take frozen mushrooms for cooking, then they must be defrosted and slightly squeezed before cooking. If the mushrooms are fresh, then they need to be washed and cut into pieces. Drain the canned food and grind, if necessary.

Cut the sausages into slices, cut the raw sausage, bacon or other meat products into strips. Put all the blanks in a frying pan, add the tomato paste, mix thoroughly. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over minimum heat for 10 minutes. Then add the contents of the skillet to the pot with the beef and potatoes. Stir the contents and bring to a boil.
