For the holiday of Light Easter, which will soon come, they bake lush cakes and paint eggs. Many housewives, when choosing a menu for the Easter table, try to surprise loved ones with something special. Prepare a basket of yeast dough, it looks very unusual and will undoubtedly decorate the festive table. From the specified number of ingredients, you will get one large basket or two small ones.

Step 1
Heat the milk, leaving 2 scoops to grease on baked goods. Add yeast, sugar, leave for 20 minutes. Then add flour, vegetable oil - gradually. Mix well. At the same time, the dough should become soft, plastic.

Put the finished dough in a warm place, wait until it approximately doubles in volume. While the dough is okay, take a heat-resistant bowl and wrap it in foil. Also prepare toothpicks and a knife.
Step 3
Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Its thickness should be about 0.5 cm. Cut the dough into equal strips. Using 5-6 strips, place them in a circle on an inverted bowl, criss-cross in the center.
Step 4
Give the bottom of the future basket a flat shape by pressing the dough on top with a cutting board. And start braiding horizontally. Cut off excess dough in a circle. Brush a basket with milk, transfer to a baking sheet.
Step 5
Having rolled up the flagella from the dough, weave a pigtail. Cut the edges, connect the ends to make a circle. Lubricate the pigtail with milk. Place it on a baking sheet, bake with a basket for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
Step 6
After taking out the blanks, let them cool down. Then remove the foil bowl. Attach the braid to the top of the basket using toothpicks. Fill the basket with, for example, candy or colored eggs.
