Cocada is a traditional Brazilian dessert. The dessert turns out to be very original and tasty. All products are available. There are a lot of cooking options, I want to offer the most traditional and simple recipe.
It is necessary
- - coconut - 1 pc.;
- - milk 2, 5% - 1 glass;
- - sugar - 500 g;
- - carnation sticks - 3 pcs.;
- - butter - 1 tsp;
- - olive oil - 1 tsp
Instructions
Step 1
Grind the pulp of the coconut in a blender or grate it on a fine grater.
Step 2
Add sugar to the crushed pulp. We mix.
Step 3
We put the milk on the fire, add the cloves. We boil for 5 minutes. Then remove the cloves.
Step 4
Combine milk and coconut pulp.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into a saucepan, put on low heat. Cook until the mixture thickens enough to separate from the saucepan. The mixture should become viscous and plastic, close in consistency to a very soft dough.
Step 6
We spread the mixture on a surface greased with butter and olive oil. Roll out the coconut mass to a thickness of 1 cm. Mode with a sharp knife into squares and cool. After the mixture has cooled, it will become more solid and dense.
Dessert is ready! Bon Appetit!!!
