Pour water into a saucepan, add granulated sugar and put on low heat. Wait for the water to boil and, stirring, cook the syrup after boiling for about ten minutes.

Cut two oranges into rings (including the peel), remove the seeds. Place the rings in boiling syrup. Cook them for fifteen minutes and place on a plate.

Separate the whites from the yolks and beat them with a mixer with half the norm of granulated sugar. Mash the yolks with the second half of the sugar, add soft butter, sour cream and chopped orange to this mixture. Add whites, beaten with sugar.
