I propose a simple recipe for making juicy stewed cabbage. Products for this dish can always be found in the refrigerator.
It is necessary
- - cabbage - 1.5 kg;
- - onions - 3 pcs.;
- - carrots - 3 medium pieces;
- - sweet peppers - 2 - 3 pcs.;
- - tomato juice - 200 gr.;
- - water or broth - 100 - 150 gr.;
- - rast. oil - 150 ml.;
- - salt, spices, herbs - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Shred cabbage. Preheat the pan, pour in 100 ml of vegetable oil, put the cabbage on the preheated pan and fry until golden brown. In the process of frying, add salt to taste. While the cabbage is fried: peel the onions, carrots, peppers. Transfer the fried cabbage to a bowl.
Step 2
Put the pan on low heat, pour 50 ml of vegetable oil. Cut the onion into half rings, three carrots on a coarse grater, put in the pan. Fry for 7 minutes, then add tomato juice, fry for another 5 minutes. In the meantime, we cut the bell peppers and add to the frying, also add the spices and fry for 2 minutes.
Step 3
We take the fried cabbage and put it in the frying: mix, add the broth, simmer the cabbage until tender. Add greens. The cabbage stewed in a pan is ready. It can be served with sour cream.
