- - thyme 1 teaspoon;
- - carrots 3 pcs.;
- - onion 1 pc.;
- - rutabaga 1 pc.;
- - parsnip 1 pc.
Instructions
Step 1
First, preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Wash the beef, pat dry with a paper towel, and cut into small cubes.
Step 2
Pour 2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil. Put pieces of beef in one layer on the bottom, salt, pepper and bake for 7 minutes, until golden brown. If there is a lot of meat, then you can bake it in parts. When all the pieces are done, return them to the pot and add the tomato paste, garlic, previously peeled and minced. Simmer for 1 minute.
Step 3
Next, add salt, pepper, thyme to the pan and pour in the dark beer. The meat must be completely covered. If not, add some more. Bring the meat to a boil over a fire without a lid, then place in the oven, cover, and bake for 2 hours.
Step 4
Peel parsnips, carrots, rutabagas and onions, cut into small pieces. Add to meat, stir. Then bake for 1 hour, uncovered.
