A delicious and aromatic cake with an unusual spiral shape can be prepared in a very simple way. Time is also saved due to the use of ready-made dough.
- packaging of yeast-free puff pastry (400-500 grams);
- 250 grams of cheese (any of the hard varieties);
- 300 grams of sausages / sausages / ham;
- raw chicken egg;
- a little ayran or kefir;
- flour;
- oil for lubrication.
1. Cheese should be coarsely grated.
2. Sausages or sausage can be chopped small or also grated like cheese.
3. Roll out the puff pastry with a little flour.
4. On the rolled dough, spread the filling of the mixed cheese and sausage in an even layer.
5. Gently roll the filled dough into a thin roll, the edges of which must be pinched.
6. Line the round shape with parchment and grease with oil.
7. Put the roll into the form, twisting it into a spiral.
8. Beat the egg with a little ayran or kefir and salt. Lubricate the resulting snail well with this mixture.
Helpful hint: sprinkle sesame seeds, poppy seeds or cheese on top of the "snail".
9. The snail pie should be baked in the oven at t about 200 degrees until golden brown.
10. Remove the finished cake from the oven, lightly grease with butter, cover with a clean towel and let it "rest" for 10-15 minutes.
