Dough made from chickpea flour with mint, dried garlic and cumin turns out to be extremely tasty. You can make chickpea flour yourself (grind chickpeas in a coffee grinder) or replace it with wheat flour.
It is necessary
- For this masterpiece you will need:
- 200 grams of suluguni cheese or feta cheese,
- 50 grams of fresh mint,
- 1/3 cup chickpea flour
- 1/3 part of a teaspoon of ground red hot pepper,
- 1 level teaspoon of cumin (cumin),
- 1 flat teaspoon dried garlic
- 1/3 teaspoon baking soda
- 50 grams of softened margarine,
- 1/2 part a glass of sunflower or olive oil,
- 50 grams of cilantro leaves,
- 1 beautiful tomato,
- salt,
- water.
Instructions
Step 1
How to cook:
Take a piece of cheese and cut out pieces in the shape of a square. The size of the pieces should be as follows: 5 cm by 5 cm and 1, 5 cm. We sort out the mint, clean it from bad leaves, rinse it well under running water, dry it and then chop it finely.
Step 2
Now you need to prepare the batter: We take all the chickpea flour and begin to mix with water until the consistency of a thin gruel. Add some salt, pepper, ground cumin and dried garlic, baking soda, melted margarine and chopped mint. Mix everything well with a whisk or a simple fork.
Step 3
For frying, take a small frying pan and pour vegetable oil into it. Now we dip each prepared piece of cheese into the dough, put in hot oil and fry on one side, and then turn over and fry on the other until a beautiful golden crust, about 3-4 minutes. Put the finished slices on tracing paper or edible paper so that the excess oil is absorbed into it. We put the finished things on beautiful plates, decorate with leaves of greenery and beautifully chopped tomatoes.
