It is necessary

  • - flour - 3.5 cups
  • - water - 290 ml
  • - salt - 1, 5 tsp
  • - sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • - dry yeast - 1, 5 tsp
  • - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • - vanillin - to taste
  • - icing sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • - confectionery chocolate - 1 bar

Instructions

Step 1

Pour warm water and vegetable oil into a large, wide bowl. The water should not be too hot, slightly warmer than room temperature. Add salt and sugar. All products that will be used to prepare the dough should be at room temperature.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, combine flour and dry baker's yeast and, if desired, vanillin. For the preparation of buns, you will need wheat flour of the highest grade of general purpose with a protein content of 10-11 grams per 100 grams of product. Take vanillin on the tip of a knife, if you add too much of it, the dough will taste bitter.

Step 3

Transfer the dry mixture carefully to the bowl of the prepared liquid. Stir first with a spoon and then with your hand. Sprinkle flour on the table and lay out the dough. Continue kneading the dough on the table, bumping the dough against the table surface from time to time. Knead, knocking out the dough, for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4

Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover and leave in a warm, draft-free place. After about one hour, the yeast bun dough is ready. If you make the dough in the evening and want to bake in the morning, knead the dough, wrap it with cling film and put it in the refrigerator.

Step 5

Divide the dough into three parts, roll each into a thin round cake. Cut into 6-8 segments.

Place 2-3 pieces of chocolate at the base of the resulting triangles.

Step 7

Roll up, fold the edges, giving the bun a horseshoe shape. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Leave on the table for 5-10 minutes.

Step 8

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the buns for 15 minutes. You can keep the buns in the oven for another 5 minutes by turning on the grill mode, if there is such a function, so that the buns are even more browned.

Transfer the chocolate buns to a serving dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
