Sugar-infused strawberries cooked in their own juice are considered the most popular strawberry jam option. Cooking this dessert does not require any specific culinary skills, so any novice housewife can make it.

Required Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of strawberries;
  • 1.5 kg of sugar.

Preparation:

We sort out the strawberries, throwing out the unripe and spoiled fruits, peel them of the leaves, then put them in a colander and rinse under cold water. Put the prepared strawberries in a deep container and sprinkle evenly with the specified amount of granulated sugar. Then we leave the strawberries to infuse for 3-4 hours so that they release the juice.

After the specified time has elapsed, put the container with strawberries on the fire and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon. The jam should be cooked in several approaches for 1-2 minutes at intervals of 4 hours.

Pour hot strawberry jam into jars, cover with lids and cover with a thick towel. A strawberry dessert prepared according to all the rules should have a thick consistency, rich aroma and luxurious ruby color.

  • 1 kg of strawberries;
  • 700 g sugar;
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of pectin.

Preparation:

Whisk the selected and washed berries in mashed potatoes using a blender. Mix the pectin with 2 tbsp. tablespoons of granulated sugar and add to the puree. Put the saucepan with the berry mixture on the fire and bring to a boil, without ceasing to interfere. After boiling, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook the mass for another 3 minutes. Pour the finished strawberry jam into jars, tighten the lids and leave to cool upside down.

The combination of strawberries and peaches gives the jam a juicy "summer" taste and exquisite aroma.

Required Ingredients:

  • 500 g strawberries;
  • 500 g peaches;
  • 500 g gelling sugar;
  • 50 ml of water.

Preparation:

We clean the strawberries from the tails and rinse them under running water. Wash the peaches, remove the seeds from them and cut them into small slices. Transfer the prepared berries and fruits to a deep enamel container, cover with gelling sugar, add water and leave to infuse overnight. In the morning, set the mixture to simmer on a small fire. Dessert should be cooked before boiling plus 10 minutes.

Place the hot jam in a blender and beat until smooth. We put the resulting mixture on fire and wait for it to boil, after which we leave it to harden for 30 minutes. In the process of hardening, the confiture should be mixed 1 time (at 15 minutes). After the specified time has elapsed, mix the dessert again and distribute it over pre-sterilized jars.

You can also make delicious strawberry jam in a slow cooker. This recipe is suitable for all multi-cookers with the Multi-Cook function.

Required Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of strawberries;
  • 1, 2 kg of sugar.

Preparation:

We sort out the berries, cleaning them from leaves and other debris. We put the selected fruits in a colander and rinse them, dipping them several times into a container with cold water. Pour the washed strawberries into the multicooker bowl, add granulated sugar and leave to infuse for 10-12 hours. The next day we turn on the multicooker in the “Multipovar” or “Jam” mode, set the temperature to 160 degrees and prepare the dessert for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally and removing the froth.

Jars for jam must be thoroughly rinsed and heated with steam for 2-3 minutes. Pour the finished strawberry delicacy into prepared jars, close the lids and store in a dark and cool place.
