- - 300 g of fish (fillet);
- - 700 g of finished puff pastry;
- - 2 pcs. onions;
- - 1 egg (for brushing);

Step 1
Fry the mushrooms and onions, add a little salt to the raw fish and set everything aside.
Step 2
Divide the puff pastry in two. Having rolled out one part of the dough, cut out the shape of a fish and put on a baking sheet, pre-greased with vegetable oil.
Fish of any size and shape can be cut from the dough: one large fish or two small ones.
Cut the strips of dough left over from cutting the fish into narrow strips and glue them with an egg around the perimeter of the fish. Grease the glued strips on top with an egg.
Step 3
Put the filling: on the dough - fish fillets, and on top - fried mushrooms and onions.
Roll the second part of the dough into a layer, cut out the scales and figures in shape, resembling the head and tail of a fish, with a glass.
Step 4
Assemble the fish: put the dough pieces in place of the head and tail, then lay out the scales with overlapping circles and grease with a beaten egg so that the scales stick together.
Grease the whole pie with an egg on top, bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 220 ° C degrees.
