Kefir mushroom is gaining more and more popularity. The number of people using it to treat disease and promote health is growing rapidly. What rules must be followed when growing this miracle healer?
It is necessary
- - glass jar with a capacity of 1 or 1.5 liters;
- - plastic colander;
- - dishes for removing kefir (deep and not wide);
- - stirring spatula (not metal);
- - gauze cloth;
- - elastic band on the jar.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the mushroom and place it in a clean jar. Pour half a liter of milk, cover with gauze, fix it with an elastic band and place in a dry, sunny place at room temperature. The first portion of the finished product can be removed after 24 hours.
Step 2
Take a jar with the mushroom it contains, remove the gauze. Prepare a container for removing kefir and a plastic colander.
Step 3
Place the colander on top of the cooked dish, or hold it in your hand (depending on the width of the container). Pour the contents of the jar into a colander.
Step 4
Take a wooden spatula and gently stir the mixture in a colander until only the fungus remains in it. This procedure is performed so that the contents of the can seep faster through the colander into the dishes, and the fungus is better separated from the resulting kefir.
Step 5
Rinse the mushroom jar thoroughly with hot water so that there is no trace of fermented milk in it.
Step 6
Carefully, so as not to damage the body of the mushroom, rinse it in a colander. The fungus must be absolutely clean for subsequent fermentation, otherwise kefir may taste bitter.
Step 7
Transfer the clean fungus to a jar and then follow the instructions in point 1.
Step 8
Pour the resulting kefir into cups. A healthy and tasty drink ready to drink.
Step 9
Remember that a mushroom is a living organism and needs daily care even if you do not drink milk. If you forget about it or take care of the fungus, breaking the rules, it will die.

Before using kefir mushroom, consult your doctor. Although its reception has practically no contraindications, it is still better to insure yourself, especially if you are going to give this drink to children.
