Low hemoglobin levels are one of the most common problems faced by both adults and children. Its solution requires an integrated approach, including a mandatory consultation with a doctor, regular walks in the air, taking special iron preparations and, of course, a balanced diet.
Instructions
Step 1
Products containing iron, vitamin C and folic acid will help to cope with anemia - it is the lack of these substances that, as a rule, reduces hemoglobin in the blood. An adult should eat at least 200 g of meat without fat (for example, veal, beef, lean pork) or fish daily. A couple of times a week, it is recommended to replace meat with beef liver, which contains a large amount of iron. An indispensable component of the daily menu is cereals, buckwheat and oatmeal are especially useful for anemia.
Step 2
An important part of the diet with a low hemoglobin level is fresh vegetables and fruits (apples, blue grapes (raisins can be used), prunes, beets, citrus fruits, pomegranate (or pomegranate juice). A good natural hemoglobin stimulator is a drink made from rose hips. Folic acid, which is necessary for process of hematopoiesis, in large quantities contains liver, parsley, lettuce and spinach.
Step 3
Be sure to consult with your doctor about taking vitamins and multivitamin complexes (for example, chelated iron). Remember that the cause of a low hemoglobin level can be not only nutrition, but also a number of diseases, therefore, a doctor's consultation is mandatory.
