On sultry summer evenings, you often want something refreshing. In such a case, simple low-alcohol cocktails will help out, which perfectly refresh, quench your thirst and lift your spirits. A characteristic feature of such drinks is the insignificant content of alcohol-containing components in relation to the total volume of other ingredients. Such original cocktails are perfect for friendly gatherings or parties.
Wales nectar
Ingredients:
- water, 2 l;
- sugar, 200 g;
- lemon, 3 pcs;
- raisins, 250 g.
Peel the skin off the lemons, being careful not to bite into the flesh. Place 2 of them in a large refractory saucepan, add sugar and pour boiling water over everything. Stir well until all the sugar is dissolved. Then cover and cool.
Squeeze the juice of another lemon into a bowl and add the grated raisins. Then pour the mixture into a large jug and keep the nectar in it for 3-4 days, stirring occasionally.
Pour the mixture into bottles, cap and refrigerate. Once the Welsh nectar has cooled, it can be served to guests. You can store it in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
Cuba Libre
Ingredients:
- light rum, 45 ml;
- cola, 120 ml;
- lime, 1/3 pcs;
- ice.
Fill a tall glass two-thirds with ice, add light rum and cola. Then add 30 ml of lime juice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Shirley Temple
Ingredients:
- ginger ale, 470 ml;
- orange juice, 240 ml;
- grenadine, 70 ml;
- ice.
Chill the glass and then fill it two thirds with ice. Pour orange juice over ice, then ginger ale and add grenadine. Garnish with a cherry and lemon wedge.
Japanese shoe
Ingredients:
- Cointreau (orange liqueur), 30 ml;
- midori (melon liqueur), 30 ml;
- lemon, 1 piece;
- melon, 1 wedge;
- ice.
