In late autumn and winter, warming cocktails are in great demand in cafes and restaurants. But they can be easily prepared at home.
Instructions
Step 1
The most popular "winter" drink, of course, is mulled wine. It is made with red wine that is heated to a near boil along with sugar, fruits and spices. It remains to decorate with orange slices - and the cocktail is ready! In stores, you can buy a ready-made set of spices for mulled wine. You can also make mulled wine from white wine.
Step 2
Grog. This is a favorite drink of British sailors who diluted rum with water. The classic grog is prepared as follows: water with spices and sugar is brought to a boil, after which rum and lemon are added to it. You can also use black tea instead of water.
Step 3
Punch. Initially, the drink was prepared from five ingredients: wine, rum, fruit juice, sugar and cloves. Later, Europeans added a sixth ingredient to it - tea. Nowadays, there are many varieties of punch.
Step 4
Coffee cocktails. You can add your favorite drinks to coffee: rum, whiskey, sambuca, all kinds of liqueurs, decorate with whipped cream on top, sprinkle with cinnamon or grated chocolate. Sugar is best added to taste.
Step 5
Hot cocktails based on fruit juices. One of the recipes: mix orange and lemon juices, add Amaretto liqueur, heat the whole mixture. Garnish with a slice of orange or lemon.
