If tea is especially relevant in the cold season, then tea drinks can be made cold and consumed even in the heat of summer. Depending on the composition, a tea cocktail can be low-calorie or become a complete breakfast.

Tea cocktails, like regular tea, contain caffeine. It is because of this that they have tonic properties and are able to improve both mood and well-being of a person.

Cold cocktails

Cold summer cocktails can be prepared based on red tea with hibiscus (hibiscus or Sudanese rose), green tea, or any fruit. Green tea cocktails are especially useful because they have the ability to cleanse the walls of blood vessels of the brain from cholesterol.

Classic Ice Tea is a chilled iced tea. To prepare one serving (200 ml), you need 4 g of tea leaves (green or red tea). Pour the tea leaves with hot water (85 - 100 ° С) and leave for 5 - 8 minutes. Then strain the tea from the infuser and pour into a beautiful glass glass. Let it cool and add a few ice cubes. Decorate the glass with a straw, a lemon wedge and a mint leaf.

A fruit cocktail is prepared according to a similar recipe. Put 1 teaspoon of fruit tea leaves in a teapot and fill with hot water. Let it brew for 5 minutes and pour into glasses. Cool, add ice. Then add a tablespoon of strawberry syrup and crushed mint, decorate with a straw.

Hot cocktails

In winter, hot tea cocktails take their place in the popularity rating. For their preparation, they also use different types of tea and even more different additives. By adding various herbs and berries, you can boost your immune system and fight colds.

A ginger tea shake with cranberries and chamomile will help you cheer up and give you extra energy. So, first brew chamomile: one bag per 100 ml of water, strain and chill a little. Then put 1 teaspoon of black tea, a slice of lemon, 2 pieces of ginger and cranberries in a teapot (it is better to knead) and pour 250 ml of boiling water. Pour into cups after 6-8 minutes. Pour in some chamomile infusion first, then add the fruit tea infusion.

Those who do not like sour teas can be sweetened with either sugar or honey. But remember, honey cannot be put in boiling water, otherwise it will lose its healing properties.

There are also alcoholic tea cocktails. They should be taken with caution. Since tea itself has a stimulating effect on the body, and in combination with alcohol, it also doubles.

Alcoholic cocktail "Captain's Tea": pour 50 g of brandy into a glass, add 2 teaspoons of honey. We brew strong black tea, leave for 5-8 minutes. Then pour into glasses and stir. Decorate with orange slices before serving.
