The main rules for delicious roast

You can use poultry meat to prepare such a dish, but the most delicious roast comes from rabbit, pork or lamb. It is better to choose the last meat without bones and veins.

From vegetables to roast, it is best to add onions, carrots, potatoes or tomatoes. However, you can also experiment and prepare such a dish with eggplant or, for example, mushrooms.

In order for the meat to cook faster, including in the airfryer, it should be pre-fried in a pan. However, poultry or rabbit usually do not require this treatment, as their meat is more tender and cooks faster.

Roast does not require a side dish, as it is usually cooked with potatoes, vegetables, or hearty mushrooms. But a salad of fresh vegetables is perfect for such a dish.

Roast in the airfryer according to the classic recipe

To prepare such a dish you will need:

- 300 g of pork or beef;

- 200 g of potatoes;

- onion head;

- 1 carrot;

- a clove of garlic;

- parsley;

- water;

- vegetable oil;

- salt and spices to taste.

Wash the meat and cut into small pieces. Cut the peeled onions into thick half rings, and grate the carrots. Then take ceramic pots, grease them inside with a little vegetable oil and place pieces of meat, onions and carrots on the bottom. Sprinkle with ground black pepper. Pour some water into them, cover the pots with a lid and put them in an airfryer set at 180 ° C for 15 minutes.

After the allotted time, salt the meat in pots, add chopped garlic, chopped into large cubes and pre-salted potatoes there. Add some more hot water and sprinkle with spices on top. Cover and cook in the airfryer at the same temperature for about 20 minutes more. Sprinkle the finished roast with chopped parsley and serve directly in the pots.

Roast rabbit and mushrooms

Ingredients:

- 1/3 of a rabbit carcass;

- 300 g of champignons;

- onion head;

- carrot;

- 3 tbsp. spoons of sour cream;

- salt and black pepper;

- butter;

- Bay leaf;

- cilantro.

Wash the rabbit carcass and cut into small pieces. Cut the washed mushrooms into 4 parts, peel the onions and carrots and cut into large cubes. Put everything in one bowl, salt and pepper, add bay leaves and mix. Put ½ teaspoon of butter in pots, then put the meat with mushrooms and vegetables, add 1 tbsp each. a spoonful of sour cream and a little warm water. Cover and cook in the airfryer at 200 ° C for 25 minutes. Sprinkle the cooked roast with chopped cilantro.
