Kefir is a very common drink that attracts a lot of discussions around itself. Some consider it to be a product that has many medicinal properties. Others believe that it cannot be useful in any way, since it contains alcohol. But nevertheless, if you are one of the fans of this product, then it is better to cook it at home.
It is necessary
-
- Milk - 1 liter;
- Kefir fungus.
Instructions
Step 1
Take the fungus, rinse it thoroughly in cold running water and place it in an empty liter jar. Pour in milk (you may not be very fresh).
Step 2
Leave the milk to infuse. The speed of readiness depends on the air temperature, if it's hot - quickly, if it's cold - you will have to wait. It is better, of course, that the temperature is average. Average cooking time is 8 hours.
Step 3
When the milk is stratified, strain it through a sieve. Rinse the fungus and can be reused.
Step 4
Put kefir in the refrigerator and use as directed.
