Fish with potatoes in a tomato is very tender and aromatic. Tomato gives the dish a sourness and bright taste. This dish is great for lunch and dinner. It does not require additional garnish or additives.

Instructions
Step 1
We clean the fish, cut into portions. If you have a small fish, just peel it. Salt the fish and rub with fish spices. Leave it on for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion, finely grate the carrots. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Fry the onions and carrots on it until golden brown. Then add tomato paste, a glass of water and flour. Cook the sauce for 5-7 minutes. It should turn out to be a little thick.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a separate skillet. Fry each fish for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Then transfer the fish to a saucepan.
Step 4
Peel the potatoes, cut into thin circles or small wedges. Put potatoes in a saucepan, mix gently. Pour in tomato sauce. If necessary, add a little water to ensure that the sauce completely covers the fish. Add bay leaves and allspice.
Step 5
Simmer for 20-25 minutes over medium heat, covered. Serve hot. Additionally, the dish can be decorated with herbs.
