Pumpkin latte is very popular in New York and it's not that hard to make! This unusual drink will warm you up in cold autumn.
It is necessary
- 1 glass of milk (not less than 3.2% fat),
- 1/2 cup of prepared espresso
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree (you can take ready-made canned or cook it yourself),
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (or vanillin on the tip of a knife)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- ground nutmeg on the tip of a knife,
- 3-4 cloves, pre-chopped.
- For garnish: whipped cream, cinnamon, syrup, liquid caramel, nuts (to taste).
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare pumpkin puree. To do this, boil a ripe pumpkin on softness, mash with a fork or grind in a blender until puree. You can take ready-made canned puree in the right amount.
Step 2
Pour milk into a small saucepan, add pumpkin puree and sugar. Mix thoroughly and put on moderate heat. After dissolving the puree, beat the mixture with a whisk until smooth. Put on fire again. Add all the pre-mixed spices.
Step 3
Bring to a boil with constant stirring. Remove the mixture from heat and beat in a blender on medium speed for 20-25 seconds. You can also use a mixer or whisk by hand.
Step 4
Pour the pumpkin mixture into special glasses or large coffee cups, add freshly brewed coffee. Top with whipped cream, ground cinnamon, grated nuts or pumpkin seeds.
