Despite the abundance of products and even ready-made meals in modern stores and supermarkets, sometimes you want to pamper your loved ones with something tasty and original. An excellent solution would be lavash dishes - easy to prepare and not requiring a lot of time and money.
Lavash rolls
An ideal dish when a little bit of everything is left in the fridge. Suitable as a filling: greens, sausage or boiled chicken, mushrooms, cheese (hard or melted). We lay out the lavash on the table, grease it with mayonnaise, sprinkle with finely chopped dill or parsley and leave to soak (lovers of spicy add garlic or spices to maynes). At this time, we are preparing the filling.
Finely chop the chicken or sausage, rub the cheese on a fine grater. Put the meat on the pita bread, sprinkle with cheese and roll the cake into a tight roll. We place it on a cutting board and put it in the refrigerator for 1, 5-2 hours. Then we take out and cut into portions 2-3 cm wide.
Cheese sticks
Cut 1-2 sheets of lavash into squares with a side of 10 cm. Beat 2 eggs until smooth, lightly add some salt. Cut the melted or hard cheese into strips (cubes), spread the tortillas along one edge (gourmets can add finely chopped dill and garlic) and roll them into a tight roll, dip it in a beaten egg and fry in a pan in boiling butter.
Puff pastry with cheese and cottage cheese
Cooking this dish will require some skill, but the result will exceed all expectations. We cut thin Armenian lavash into equal layers. Put cottage cheese (about 0.5 kg for 2 sheets) put in a bowl. Rub any soft cheese on a coarse grater (200 g), mix with cottage cheese, salt and mix thoroughly.
Put the first layer on a greased baking sheet and grease it abundantly with kefir, lay out the filling. The second and subsequent layers must be soaked in kefir. We put the second piece of pita bread, gently straighten it, again the filling, etc. The last one should have been pita bread. Sprinkle generously on top with grated cheese and finely chopped dill. We bake in a preheated (180 degrees) oven for 30 minutes. Cut the pie into portions and carefully put on a plate.
