Cooking a casserole is quite simple, so every housewife can master this recipe. Mackerel has a lot of useful properties, and potatoes and cheese crust give the dish an additional exquisite taste. Ingredients can be changed as desired.

Step 1
First you need to prepare the potatoes. Rinse each tuber under running water, remove the peel with a sharp knife. Next, cut the potatoes into thin slices. Take a saucepan, pour half of the water, salt, put on the burner and wait until it boils.

Transfer the potatoes to water and cook until half cooked. Place the potatoes in a separate bowl and let cool.

While the potatoes are cooling, take the mackerel, remove the thin skin. If the fish has been frozen, then it is worth defrosting it beforehand. Remove all large bones. Cut the mackerel into small pieces of your choice.

Grind the cheese with a blender or grater. Rinse the greens well and chop them as well. Take mayonnaise, mix with chopped herbs, add salt and pepper to taste.

You will need a deep baking dish to make the casserole. Prepare the mold, brush with cooking oil. Put the first layer of potatoes in a mold, pour a small amount of mayonnaise and herbs on top.

The second layer consists of mackerel. Pieces of fish must be evenly distributed over the potatoes, then pour over the sauce again and lay out a layer of mackerel again.
Step 7
The last layer will be potatoes. Then place the dish in the oven for baking. After 20-30 minutes, remove the pan, sprinkle with cheese on top and place in the oven again.
