In winter, there is a lack of sun and vivid impressions. And chocolate and other sweets are known to help produce the hormone of happiness. In order to somehow brighten up the gray everyday life, people buy up various goodies. Isn't it easier to try making a dessert with your own hands? An excellent addition to aromatic warming tea will be airy custard rings that literally melt in your mouth.
It is necessary
- - 250 ml of water
- - 400 g flour
- - 200 g butter
- - 10 eggs
- - 100 g almonds
- - 100 g icing sugar
- - 100 g sugar
- - a pinch of salt
- - pastry bag
Instructions
Step 1
Boil water in a small saucepan, add butter, flour, sugar and salt melted in a pan. Switch to medium heat and stir the mixture with a wooden spoon for 2-4 minutes until the mixture turns yellow. When the mass begins to easily lag behind the edges of the pan, remove from heat and cool slightly.
Step 2
While rubbing, add one egg to the dough, adjusting the thickness of the dough. Usually 6 eggs are enough, but more is possible. Finally, if desired, you can add a baking powder, but the choux pastry rises well even without it. In terms of density, the dough should resemble thick and fatty homemade sour cream.
Step 3
Place the prepared and cooled mass in a pastry bag and, squeezing out in a circular motion clockwise, put on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil in the form of oval rings 10x6 cm.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 230-250 degrees for 18-20 minutes. When the rings are raised and golden brown, remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated almonds mixed with powdered sugar.
