Not all lovers of the sea language know that this fish is a relative of the flounder. Outwardly, the fish looks like a shoe sole, so the Americans gave it such a name, which translates from English as shoe sole.

To prepare a dish you will need:

- sole (sirloin) - 400 g;

- chicken egg - 2 pcs.;

- flour - 100 g;

- water - 100 ml;

- salt - to taste;

- spices for fish - optional;

- vegetable oil - for baking.

Take a deep bowl and break the chicken eggs into it, then beat them with a whisk, mixer or fork until smooth, to which you need to add water. Now mix the contents of the bowl well, add the wheat flour and stir again until smooth. Salt the batter and then stir again. The batter for the sole is ready.

Defrost fish at room temperature. While the sole is defrosting, heat a frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove (you can use both olive and sunflower oil).

Cut the sole of the sole into pieces that have a length of 4-5 centimeters, then dip each piece into the finished egg batter. Put the sole into the skillet. The fish must be fried on both sides until tender. The fact that your dish is ready, you will be prompted by the fact that the fish will acquire a golden color.

It is best to remove the slices with a slotted spoon, so the fish will be less oily. Soap baked in batter is ready and can be served hot along with vegetable side dishes such as potatoes or rice.
