There are many ways to cook salmon. But few people have tasted salmon with mango salsa!

It is necessary

  • - 6 x 175 g skinless salmon fillet
  • - boiled rice and spinach with sesame seeds for serving
  • For salsa:
  • - 2 peeled mangoes, diced approximately 1 cm
  • - 1 finely chopped small red onion
  • - 3 tbsp. l. chopped cilantro
  • - 1 diced green chili
  • - juice of 1 lime
  • - a couple of drops of Tabasco sauce
  • - salt and ground black pepper

Instructions

Step 1

For the sauce, place the mangoes in a bowl and combine with the onions, cilantro, chili, lime juice, and tabasco. Season with salt and pepper and refrigerate.

Step 2

Prepare a steamer or use a small saucepan with a steamer attachment. Pour some water into it, cover and bring to a boil.

Step 3

Place the salmon fillets upside down in the steamer. Cook for about 10 minutes: the fish should lighten on the outside, but remain coral pink on the inside. Serve the fish and salsa with rice and sesame spinach.
