Apple pie is a classic tea delicacy. There are many recipes for its preparation. One of these is this baked goods with apple filling. Its peculiarity is that it is baked with a sprig of rosemary to add flavor, and served with vanilla ice cream.
It is necessary
- For 2 servings:
- - 1 sweet and sour apple;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter;
- - 3 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar;
- - 1 pack of frozen puff pastry;
- - 1 egg yolk;
- - 1-2 sprigs of fresh rosemary (optional);
- - vanilla ice cream (for serving).
Instructions
Step 1
Leave the dough to defrost at room temperature. Peel the apple, cut into 1 cm cubes.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the chopped apples and sugar.
Step 3
Keep on medium heat for 10-15 minutes, until most of the liquid from the apple evaporates and the pieces become more transparent. Turn off the heat, set the pan aside.
Step 4
Turn on the oven to heat up to 200 ° C. Roll out the defrosted dough and divide into 4 parts, each of which is slightly pierced with a fork.
Step 5
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay out 2 sheets of dough, stuff with apples, cover with the other two sheets of apple filling. Make 5 cuts each with a knife.
Step 6
Press the edges with a fork, brush with whipped yolk.
Step 7
Place a sprig of fresh rosemary over the tarts. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
