A very tasty and healthy fish dish that will decorate both a festive and everyday table. It is quite simple and quick to prepare. Even those who don't like fish will like it.
To make fish pudding, you need the following ingredients.
For 4 servings you need:
- fish fillet - 400 gr. (any fish can be used, even red);
- eggs - 2 pcs.;
- milk - 1 glass;
- wheat flour - 2 tablespoons;
- butter - 20 gr.;
- sour cream - 2 tablespoons;
- cheese - 50 gr. (you can take more);
- fresh herbs to taste.
Getting started cooking
Cut the fish fillet into pieces. Pour some water into a ladle and put the fish in it. Cook it over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Then the fish must be cooled and minced. You can also use a blender. Heat the milk, but do not boil it. Add flour to it, stir until smooth, pour in sour cream. It turned out to be a sauce.
Separate the whites from the yolks and beat until thick foam. Put the fish in a saucepan, add softened butter, yolks and mix everything. Next, carefully introduce the protein foam and mix gently. Put the resulting mass in a mold or frying pan with a removable handle, pour over the sauce prepared earlier and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees until a beautiful crust is formed. Ready-made fish pudding can be sprinkled with fresh herbs and served hot or cold.
