The cake got its intriguing name for its extraordinary property. For its preparation, batter is made and nothing else but that, and during the baking process, the cake is divided into several layers: ruddy biscuit, delicate custard, exquisite soufflé with vanilla aroma.

- 100 grams of wheat flour
- 4 eggs,
- 0.5 liters of milk
- 150 grams of sugar
- 125 grams of butter,
- vanilla sugar or vanillin,
- 1 tablespoon water

Step 1
Put the oil in a warm place until softened, as an option, you can melt and cool it.
Step 2
Carefully separate the yolks from the whites. Cool the proteins in the refrigerator.
Step 3
Beat the yolks well with sugar, vanilla and water. In the process of whipping, add melted butter, beat everything together.
Step 4
Gradually add the pre-sifted flour, carefully, stirring slowly, pour in the milk in two stages.
Step 5
Beat the whites well, add to the dough, mix gently with a spatula from top to bottom. The dough will be runny.
Step 6
Grease the mold with oil, pour the dough into it. Place for baking in an oven preheated to 175 degrees. The baking time is one and a half hours. Cool in the oven after baking. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut into portions and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
