Preparation:
- The first step is to cut the zucchini in half lengthwise and dip it into boiling and slightly salted water. Cook for 15-20 minutes, wait for the zucchini to become soft.
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Grease a heat-resistant dish with oil.
- To prepare the filler, you need to melt the butter or heat up the sunflower oil. Then fry the onion in this oil, avoiding staining. Add beef. Fry while stirring. Season to your taste with salt, freshly ground black pepper. Add oregano and garlic. Add broth if mixture is too dry.
- For the sauce, you need to melt the butter and pour the sifted flour into it, heat it up, and then cool it slightly. Add milk gradually. Bring the mixture to a boil, stir constantly. Cook for 5-6 minutes. Remove the cooked sauce from the heat, add grated cheese, freshly ground black pepper and fine salt to your liking. Cool slightly and add the egg, stir.
- Remove seeds and some of the pulp from boiled zucchini. Place on prepared dish and fill with filler. Top with all the remaining butter from cooking and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake in the oven, 10 minutes, until the surface of the zucchini acquires a beautiful, slightly golden color. In the oven, Greek zucchini should become beautiful and fragrant.
