  • • 1 kg of lamb meat;
  • • 300 g of potato tubers;
  • • 150 g onions;
  • • ¼ teaspoon of red and black pepper;
  • • 300 g eggplant;
  • • 300 g of ripe tomatoes;
  • • fresh cilantro;
  • • 2 garlic cloves;
  • • ½ teaspoon of suneli hops;
  • • salt.

Step 1

First thing you need to do is prepare the lamb. To do this, it is washed in running water and cut into portions.

Step 2

Now we need to start preparing vegetables. Remove the skin from the potato tubers, rinse them thoroughly, and then, using a sharp knife, cut into large enough cubes. Eggplants and tomatoes also need to be rinsed and stemmed. The eggplants are cut into fairly small slices and the tomatoes are cut into cubes.

Remove the husk from the onion, rinse it in cold water, and then cut into thin rings. Remove the husks from the garlic cloves, and then wash them very thoroughly. After that, the garlic is passed through a garlic pellet or chopped very finely.

Fresh cilantro is washed thoroughly, allowed to drain, and then chopped finely with a sharp knife.

After all the products are prepared, you can start laying them in the pots. So, the first layer is lamb. This is followed by a layer of potatoes. Sprinkle potatoes with eggplants. Then put chopped onion and garlic. The top layer consists of chopped tomatoes.

When the ingredients are stacked, you will need to add all the necessary spices on top, and also do not forget about the salt. Then sprinkle the tomatoes with chopped cilantro.

After that, the required amount of water should be poured into the pot. There should be enough of it so that it completely covers the tomato slices. And only after that, the pot can be tightly covered with a lid.

Step 8

Then the pot should be sent to a preheated oven. The dish will be ready in about 45-50 minutes. It should be served hot.
