Kiwi is an incredibly healthy fruit that is best eaten fresh so that the body gets the maximum vitamins and minerals, but sometimes you can pamper yourself with kiwi jam, which is very easy to make at home.
It is necessary

- - juice of one medium lemon;
- - 1 teaspoon agar agar (optional).

The kiwi must be peeled, cut into small pieces and put in a saucepan.
Step 2
Fill the kiwi with sugar, squeeze out the lemon juice, stir, cover the pan and leave for at least 2 hours (it is better to leave the kiwi with sugar overnight so that they give maximum juice).
Step 3
We put the pan on the fire, bring the kiwi to a boil in its own juice, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook the fruit for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally and removing the foam. Agar can be added a few minutes before the jam is done.
Step 4
To keep kiwi jam as long as possible, you need to lay it out in sterile hot jars while hot.
