Muffins are a very popular type of homemade baked goods and are made with different fillings and shapes. It is advisable to have several baking dishes in the kitchen so that you can make small items or one large cake. For example, for a kid's party, small cupcakes with a pretty, bright frosting are best.

So that baking does not take much time, you need to have in your arsenal a simple cake recipe from the most affordable products that are always in the refrigerator. After all, guests can come unexpectedly, and sometimes you want a delicious dessert for dinner.

For a simple test you will need:

- 100 grams of margarine or butter;

- 100-200 grams of sugar;

- 180-200 grams of sour cream;

- 2 eggs;

- 1 teaspoon baking powder;

- 100-200 grams of flour.

First of all, thoroughly grind the margarine with sugar. It is better not to choose butter for such baking, because then the muffins can turn out to be heavy, and margarine is much cheaper. Sugar should be taken to taste, depending on the intended filling or decoration.

You need to add eggs to the butter with sugar and mix everything carefully, sour cream is added to the same mixture. To make the mass more homogeneous and without lumps, it is necessary to beat everything with a mixer. If sour cream is not available, it can be perfectly replaced with kefir of any fat content.

The baking powder must first be mixed with flour and added to the mixture. The dough should not be thick and resemble thick sour cream in consistency. Some replace the baking powder with baking soda, only it must first be extinguished with vinegar or lemon juice, and they may not always be at hand.

To make the muffins more airy and porous, you should first sift the flour through a sieve. Thanks to this, the dough is saturated with oxygen and becomes perfectly structured.

The dough prepared in this way must be placed in a silicone mold. The big plus of food grade silicone is that you don't even need to lubricate it with vegetable oil beforehand. The baked goods will not burn anyway, and the cupcakes will turn out nice and even.

If the cupcakes are difficult to remove from the mold, then it should be placed on a wet towel for only 5 minutes. After that, the baked goods can be easily obtained.

You need to bake the product at a temperature of 180 ° C for half an hour. The readiness of the baking can be checked with a simple match or a toothpick. Before removing the muffins from the molds, you must cool the entire product for 15 minutes. Muffins made from such a simple dough are delicious, airy, and unusually tender.

To give a simple cake interesting flavor notes, you should add vanillin, walnuts, raisins, pieces of chocolate, marmalade to the dough. Decorate baked goods with chocolate chips, ground nuts, cream, and icing.

If you want to get sour muffins, then berries, fresh plums or lemon zest will be an excellent addition to the dough. This combination of products will add freshness and flavor to the baked goods.
