Shekerpare is a Turkish sweet. This dessert is infused with sugar sorbet, which gives the dessert an unforgettable taste. It turns out very tasty, tender, it just melts in the mouth.
It is necessary
- - 400 g flour
- - 1 egg
- - 600 g granulated sugar
- - 125 g margarine
- - 2 tbsp. l. semolina
- - 0.5 lemon
- - 0.5 tsp soda
- - a pinch of vanillin
- - 1 handful of walnuts
Instructions
Step 1
Pour 2 cups of flour into a deep bowl, make a hole in the center and add granulated sugar, melted margarine, semolina, vanillin, soda, and an egg there.
Step 2
Mix well what's in the center. Stir in flour gradually and gently. Knead the dough with your hands, if it turns out too liquid, then add a little more flour.
Step 3
Shape into balls slightly larger than a walnut. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place the balls in it. Place a walnut on top of each ball.
Step 4
Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until the shekerpare begins to brown, about 20-30 minutes.
Step 5
Pour 3 cups of water into a saucepan, add 2 cups of granulated sugar and half a lemon. Bring to a boil over high heat, then make a small heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 6
Remove the shekerpare and fill it with the cooled syrup, leave to soak for 3-5 hours.
Step 7
You can sprinkle the finished shekerpare with coconut.
