It is necessary

  • –Lava (3 pcs.);
  • –Bryndza (170 g);
  • –Fresh cottage cheese (170 g);
  • –Greens of parsley and dill (35 g);
  • - garlic to taste;
  • -egg.

Instructions

Step 1

First, you should prepare the filling for the khachapuri. Take the herbs, rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean paper towel. Chop the parsley and dill with a sharp knife. Remove the top peel from the garlic, finely chop and add to the mixture of herbs, mix.

Step 2

Put cottage cheese and feta cheese in a separate cup. Mix into a homogeneous mass. Low-fat cottage cheese with medium-sized grains is ideal for khachapuri. Leave the curd and cheese mass for a while to infuse. Then add the herbs and stir.

Step 3

Take a sheet of pita bread and cut it into large squares with cooking scissors. Put a small part of the filling in the middle of each square, fold in the shape of an envelope.

Step 4

Beat a fresh egg with salt until smooth. Put the resulting pita bread envelopes into a deep heat-resistant form, after dipping each envelope in an egg. Remember to keep at least 1 cm between envelopes. Otherwise, the envelopes may stick together when baked.

Step 5

Place the dish in the oven and cook the khachapuri for about 20 minutes. As soon as a crispy crust appears on the surface of the envelopes, the dish can be taken out of the oven.
